The Administrative Division supports all areas of the Department and handles several specified areas within the Department including the Traffic Division, scheduling of Departmental employees, all extraneous employment, overseeing of the Records Division, detention facilities, handling all OPRA requests, Court Room security, writing and maintaining of all grants, in-service training of all employees, tow vehicle licenses and updating and issuing of Departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
The Records Division is responsible for filing all Police reports as well as distributing of reports to civilians and discovery for attorneys. The Records Division is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 400 pm and can be reached at 908-725-1971. Please provide a MPD case number to assist with your request.
