The Manville Police Department will be offering Child Safety Seat Inspections on Saturday September 22, 2007 at Community Day from 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm.  The event will be taking place at the Lincoln Avenue Park off of Kyle Street in the Lost Valley section of town.  Car seats can be checked and literature and information will be handed out by Sgt. Jeffrey Petrone and Ptlm. Craig Jeremiah, the department's car seat technicians.  If you are unable to make it to this event, call 908-725-1900 ext. 625 to set up an appointment.

New Jersey law states if you are not 8 years old or 80 pounds, that you are requires to be in a car seat.
