January 1, 2024, 1:19 a.m.

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested Charrod Wilson (33) of Manville for D.W.I.  Wilson was processed and released from police custody with a court date.

January 1, 2024, 3:48 a.m.

Manville Police assisted Bridgewater with an overturned motor vehicle near the border.  The driver was arrested for D.W.I. and the investigation was turned over to Bridgewater Police.

January 4, 2024, 5:03 p.m.

Patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested Taras Idak (35) of Manville on an outstanding warrant.  Idak was processed and released from police custody with a new court date.

January 6, 2024

Police responded to a Borough address on the report of a domestic violence assault.  During the investigation, Police arrested a 19-year-old male for assault.  He was processed and released from police custody with a court date.

January 8, 2024, 6:41 p.m.

Patrol arrested a 31-year-old male on an outstanding warrant.  He was able to post the full bail amount and was released from police custody with a new court date.

January 9, 2024, 3:14 p.m.

Police arrested Joann May (50) of Raritan on an outstanding warrant.  She was able to post the full bail amount and was released from police custody with a new court date.

January 11, 2024, 4:04 a.m.

Patrol was dispatched to a Borough address on the report of a catalytic converter theft in progress.  Patrol attempted to stop the suspect vehicle, but the suspects fled the area.  The investigation is ongoing.

January 12, 2024, 1:45 a.m.

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested Alberto Quesada Castro (39) of Somerville for D.W.I. and narcotic offenses.  He was processed and released from police custody with a court date.

January 13, 2024, 6:13 p.m.

Patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested Daquan Childs (32) of Manville on an outstanding fugitive warrant.  Childs was processed and later lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

January 15, 2024, 2:06 p.m.

A businesses owner in town reported a transaction was made by an individual with a suspected stolen credit card.  The transaction was worth over $5,000 and the investigation is ongoing.

January 16, 2024, 11:33 a.m.

Manville Detectives arrested Karol Aguilar (43) of Manville after an ongoing shoplifting investigation at Walmart.  She was processed and released from police custody with a court date.

January 17, 2024, 6:21 p.m.

Police were dispatched to a Borough address on the report of a stolen package.  The victim reported an unknown actor stole his Amazon package from the front porch.  The investigation is ongoing.

January 18, 2024

Patrol responded to a Borough address and arrested a 21-year-old male on outstanding charges from a nearby police department.  The male was processed and turned over to the other agency.

January 20, 2024

Police were dispatched to a Borough residence on the report of an assault.  Police arrested a 31-year-old male for domestic violence assault.  He was processed and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

January 21, 2024, 12:43 p.m.

Patrol was dispatched to a Borough address on the report of a female crashing her vehicle into a house, pouring gasoline on the house and attempting to light it on fire, while the residents were inside.  Additionally, she slashed a vehicle’s tire and crashed into numerous parked vehicles.  Police were able to apprehend and arrest the actor, Shamika McDaniel (36) of Piscataway.  Order was restored to the area and McDaniel was processed and lodged in the Somerset County Jail on numerous felony charges.

January 23, 2024, 11:14 a.m.

Police arrested Sade Johnson (36) of Plainfield on an outstanding warrant.  She was processed and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

January 24, 2024, 1:31 p.m.

Patrol arrested Ryan Sullivan (31) of Bridgewater on an outstanding warrant.  He was processed and released from police custody with a new court date.

January 25, 2024

Manville Detectives arrested a 19-year-old male with two felony offenses in regards to an ongoing investigation.  The male was processed and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

January 26, 2024, 11:42 a.m.

Patrol arrested Eddie Fago-Perez (50) of Somerset on an outstanding warrant.  Fago-Perez was able to post the full cash bail and was released from police custody with a new court date.

January 27, 2024, 10:32 p.m.

Police arrested Melissa Stani (47) of Somerset on an outstanding warrant.  Stani was able to post the full cash bail and was released from police custody with a new court date.

January 28, 2024, 10:09 p.m.

Patrol responded to the area of Roosevelt Avenue and Pope Street for a reported motor vehicle in the Royce Brook.  The occupant was not harmed in the collision and was able to swim to shore safely.  The investigation is ongoing.

January 29, 2024, 1:46 p.m.

Police responded to Municipal Court to arrest a defendant who was found guilty on numerous driving while suspended violations.  He was processed and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

January 30, 2024, 8:12 a.m.

Patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested Luis Cristalinas (34) of Manville on two outstanding warrants.  He was able to post full cash bail and was released from police custody with a new court date.

January 31, 2024, 6:21 p.m.

Police arrested Christy Vesoloski (41) of Manville on an outstanding warrant.  She was able to post full cash bail and was released from police custody with a new court date.
